Mini experts for over 15 years, My Mini Revolution (MMR) is a European leader in the restoration, maintenance, and preparation of classic Minis. Since 2010, we have developed a recognized expertise based on a guiding principle: doing things right, down to the smallest details.
Our 3,200 m² site (showroom, garage, workshop) is based in Bazainville and centralizes all of our activities. You will be joining a team of around twenty passionate individuals, where each trade works hand in hand: mechanics, engine preparation, sheet metal work, bodywork and painting.
The post
We are looking for our next experienced automotive paint preparation technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the excellence of our services. You will work on classic and modern Minis, ensuring the paintwork is applied with the utmost care. You will join a team already composed of panel beaters and a detailer who refines the finishes after your work.
Your workspace is equipped with 2 preparation areas, a paint booth and a lab.
Your main missions
You ensure the painting of the bodyworks with care and precision:
- Surface preparation, masking, priming, sanding and leveling
- Preparation of tints (solvent-based and water-based)
- Painting application: from simple touch-ups to complete repainting on a bare chassis
- Buffing and polishing
- Assembly and disassembly of bodywork components
- Paint and consumables stock management
Your qualities
- You are meticulous, punctual, and you like a job well done.
- You have a team spirit and know how to adapt to changes in the workshop's pace (especially in case of rush or during our events and trade shows).
- You are obviously a true car enthusiast.
Your profile
- Training: Vocational Baccalaureate in bodywork + Vocational Certificate in painting (or equivalent experience). A Professional Qualification Certificate in bodywork painting is a plus.
- Skills: mastery of painting techniques and knowledge of products specific to bodywork.
