Mini Cooper 1.3 MPI “MMR Edition” #108 – An exclusive creation by My Mini Revolution

Some cars are not simply restored. They are conceived, designed, and rebuilt as unique pieces. This Cooper MPI is one of these exceptional creations, born from a completely bespoke order entrusted to our workshop.

Meticulously designed for its owner, this Mini underwent a complete restoration, carried out with the precision of a watchmaker. The car was entirely disassembled, each component inspected, restored, or replaced, in order to rebuild it with absolute accuracy, down to the smallest screw.

The aesthetic project was also very personal. The owner wanted to recreate on his Mini the same elegance he found on one of his iconic cars. The bodywork was therefore executed in the sublime Argento shade, exactly the same as that of his Ferrari Daytona. This finish gives the Mini an appearance that is at once understated, sophisticated, and profoundly timeless.

The interior was designed entirely like a grand tourer's cabin. The upholstery is crafted from full-grain beige leather, custom-made to create a warm and refined atmosphere. This is further enhanced by black carpeting made specifically for the car, a black Alcantara headliner, and fully restored wood trim that underscores the cabin's natural elegance. At the heart of this ambiance, a stunning Moto-Lita wooden steering wheel completes the driving experience with a presence that is both refined and sporty.

From a technical standpoint, the car underwent a complete rebuild. The engine was entirely rebuilt, while the automatic transmission was disassembled and rebuilt—a skill that very few workshops possess today on this type of Mini. The running gear was removed, sandblasted, and then protected with epoxy paint, guaranteeing durability and an impeccable finish. All the screws and bolts were replaced, and each metal part received the most appropriate treatment, whether zinc plating, chromating, or a paint finish.

This Mini was also designed to offer modern driving pleasure while retaining its authentic character. It therefore benefits from rare features that transform the driving experience:

– Electric sunroof.
