Exceptional Austin Mini Countryman “All steel” from 1962!
For those who don't know, the Countryman name was not necessarily for estate cars with wood. The models manufactured by Austin are called Countryman and the models manufactured by Morris are called Traveller.
The "All steel" version is an option that appeared in the catalog in April 1961, few customers asked for it, which makes it a very rare and unusual model. Like all models before 1966, our station wagon has the famous "Flat roof" (smooth roof, without the ribs to reinforce it).
All you have to do is get in the car, close your eyes, smell the very specific smell of a never-rebuilt Mini and you're thrown back into 1962; just leaving the BMC dealership with your brand new Countryman!
This car has been completely overhauled by us and we have just refurbished the gearbox.
This is the perfect car for a true fan of the brand.
