Origins of the Mini Pick-Up
The 1975 Mini Pick-up, powered by an 850cc engine, is an iconic vehicle that combines the retro charm of the Mini with the functionality of a small utility vehicle.
Derived directly from the original Mini platform, this Pick-up model retains the brand's characteristic design, with its rounded lines and compact format, while being specifically designed to transport loads. Unlike the Mini Van, it has a rear dump bed integrated from the start, giving it a clearly stated utility vocation.
Its engine, although small in displacement, offered surprising agility and economical consumption, assets which made it a practical choice at the time.
The rear dump body, designed for both professional and personal use, adds real versatility to the vehicle. The Mini Pick-up was thus used for a variety of tasks, ranging from delivery to more personal use, its small size being ideal for sneaking around town and easy parking.
Today, this model has become a collector's item sought after by classic car enthusiasts, seduced by its unique design and authentic character.
